In tuning around tonight, even though KXOL is listed as silent, they still have
left their carrier on. No IDs, so is that legal? I would not think so. Sounds
like 1 KW. The carrier is there every night I go by 1660.

least CKMW is gone and 1570 is
a bit easier even with XERF. I still need KKTS . Too much CKDO most nights.
Maybe I can catch KKTS in the afternoon before they drop power.

You tube has a series of him back in the 1980s.

I have a bunch of the Crusin' albums and Larry Lujak may be on one of those.
They may be on the internet somewhere too.

That is really cool. Too bad Larry did not sign it. I guess he sent out
autographed photos as many famous DJs had done. I have one from Wolfman Jack.

Sad to hear this, but it was unexpected as everything now is online. First MT
and now Pop Com. I guess the days of picking up the latest mag's on the
newsstand are pretty much over.

try them? Thanks.
I am preparing myself on what is coming down the pike after the first of the
year when most will switch. I wonder if there will be more noise issues?

Thanks Forrest. Glad to know the LED ones are noise free.

Mike, I got lots of them. Well over a hundred. I may never have to buy a light
bulb for the rest of my life.

Bob,
Like you I like the old bulbs better for light. I guess it will be illegal to
go to Canada and bring the old bulbs back in too.

Mike,
There will be enough neighbors that will run the new bulbs and I am sure most
have been running them for years now. We might even not notice any increase in
the noise level.

Mike,
I do not like the CFLs and I will not use them. I also do not like their
weight.

I notice that as I tried to find Absolute Radio and the message came back that
it no longer was available outside of Europe. Funny, as even a lot of small
private UK stations are streaming to the US.
