Hi Laurent,
do you have special requirements regarding the timestamp service?
Both iaik and bouncy castle provide a simple server implementation we
have used successfully ...

Thank you sir,
Safelayer sandbox seems to be a good input for days to come but sure ejbca
would be a better internal solution (but I recently had problem to set it
up and keep it working fine on a long term period)

thank you. I'll digg caCert side as i'm currently investigating The CAcert
Assurance Program. I think CAcert wiki will have to be updated as
https://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa is not up any longer.
long is the way to instantiate tsaClient to test code sample 3.14 in
"Digital Signature for PDf" ...

You can try SANDBOXes eg.:

or make a private one for test with

Maintaining a timestamping server isn't trivial. Don't expect a free
timestamping service.
Without warranty (I didn't try any of the links), this may help you:

No, we can't: that's not our business. We sell software licenses, we
don't sell certificates, time stamp services, etc... nor do we have any
intention to do this in the future.

It's not possible, the signature covers all the text but you only have the date
after signing.

Hi all
Im making an aplication that sign pdf with time stamp signature. There is no
problem with the certificates in windows keyStore or signing with a smart
card.
The problems comes when i try to sign using NSS firefox keystore. Usally i
add the time Stamp this way:
See http://itextpdf.sourceforge.net/howtosign.html for examples on how to
sign with timestamps and OCSP in Java and C#.

How can I define that a pdf is timestamped? I've used
the code below for getting the time of the signature,
but I could not find a way to understand if it is
timestamped.
PdfReader reader = new PdfReader(signedPDFFileName);
AcroFields af = reader.getAcroFields();
ArrayList names = af.getSignature
There's an example on how to sign with a timestamp using a ds200.

When I sign a pdf using iText everything works great but in Acrobat it
gives a warning that the "Signature date/time are from the clock on
the singer's computer." Is there any way to get rid of this warning by
getting the time stamp from a trusted source?
Thanks,

Title: Timestamp Pdf signature
Hi,
Could you give us a sample of timestamp a PDF signature with itext ?
Thanks for the help
David
There's an example using a dse200. Otherwise you'll have to create the
PKCS#7 by hand.
