Do you have to use ivtvctl --reset-ir before the IR goes unresponsive or
will
it work well enough to bring it back alive after it dies?
Thanks

I actually got it to work BUT... it only accuratly receives IR codes
for a few days
and then I get nothing. Reloading the modules doesn't bring IR function
back to life.
I have to reboot to get IR function back, quite annoying.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I become bored with the speed of driver development, so I got

Thanks to all developers who did a great job!
I've registered new domain name ivtv.us and uploaded new driver.

I have integrated the lirc_i2c module using the pvr 150 patch and ivtv
driver version 0.3.2i. This appears to work in getting the remote codes
to lircd -- but only for a couple of days. After that the lircd device no
longer puts out any codes. I restart lircd and it makes no difference and
I reload
That did it, now build works for me!

I am attempting to build the driver in the 0.2.3.h version and am getting
the following on my 2.6.9 kernel (built from scratch) system. It builds
d, e, and f just fine:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] driver]# make
make CONFIG_VIDEO_IVTV=m -C /lib/modules/2.6.9/build
M=/home/Share/Public/MythStuff/IVTV/ivtv-0.3
Another point of reference, I have a PVR-250 MCE and have no luck
getting radio to play. I get staticy TV tuner audio instead. This is using
the 0.3.2.f version.

Remote control still no workie either.

I can't seem to keep my machine from locking up upon modprobe of ivtv.
What is your config (kernel, ivtv, flags in kernel, firmware, modprobe.conf)
that allows
this thing to operate?
Thanks!
