Java 2 ( AKA JDK 1.2 ) does have swing ( AKA JFC ) included as
a standard extension ( "javax.*" ) package. For any other JDK 1.1.x release
you can download the current version of JFC\swing from sun directly and
use it because in is 100% pure java.
