Thanks much for your initiative. I do hope that Java 3D type scenegraph
architecture would continue to exist in some form or the other.
Firstly, if you or some consortium wants to maintain and enhance the API,
then I would be happy to send in a yearly subscription to cover the costs.

I don't know of how much help I could be, my strong points are
mainly in dealing with and training people, however, you could
count me in for, let's say 2 hours a week for a start.

I modified the link in the page just before,so that you can download it directly.
My current implementation is using only collision detection algorithm in the paper.
And it is using the implicit integration for cloth simulation.
