sharon, I use the avg free and so far so good. You could try it to see what
you think of it and then purchase the avg pro version. In reading through
some of the info provided in the free version, it appears that there are
upgrades in the purchased version that you can't get with the free one

I have never used the pro edition of AVG however, I can tell you as an AVG
user, I have never had a virus and, it runs and updates itself automatically
every day and, I don't have to do anything to it.

All I did was to take the address I gave you earlier and simply created a
new desktop icon. When it asked me to type in the location of whatever it
was that I wanted I just pasted it right in there. Then when it wanted to
name it new internet short cut I just changed it to ACB Radio Main Stre
why not get he ACB desktop player if it is still made? you can have all of
the stations there in one place instead of making shortcuts for the desktop.

I am sure that what Andrew means is that you close JAWS and then start it up
again. I have a similar problem as you and so when it occurs I use the
+ to close JAWS and the ++J hot key to restart
JAWS and everything is then fine. It usually takes about 15 seconds to
execute this maneuver,
