Hi Folks,
Recently there was a discussion on this list that provided instructions to

information. Would somebody pleas point me in the right direction?

Hi,
I have been looking at just about every version of winamp over the last week or

Please can somebody explain to me what I am missing by not using Winamp!

I think it is just a personal preference. I have used Winamp for years and
it is what I have grown accustomed to using. WMP is a good media player and
if it does what you need it to do, then by all means keep using it.
I do find that it is easier to set up play lists in Winamp though. Also I

I am just trying to learn how to use Winamp. Any advice would

Steve,
I think that those scripts are included with Jaws. Winamp should work good
right out of the box.
I don't use Winamp to rip or burn CD's, so I can't testify as to how that
works with Jaws, but all other features I use in Winamp works good without
installing any additional scripts.

Steve,
If you can do what you need to do with Nero and you can access it with Jaws,
then yes, it is a good choice. I personally use CD Burner by Acoustica ,
but that is only a personal choice.
There are many other choices for burning CD's of which David posts to his

Sometimes, that happens to me. In my case, I must somehow mute the computer.
Go to the system tray, then press the volume button. If you tab twice, you
should land on a checkbox that says mute all. Make sure it is unchecked.
Hope that helps.

Most Inspiron Dell laptops have a function key that will turn your sound
off. I'm not sure, but I think it is function key f7. The function key
should be located next to your left control key. This is a toggle command.

Hi Carliss.
In the configuration manager, in default.jss, go to set options with alt+s,
then go to keyboard options. From there, in the key label tab, look through

mute that. Tab to to the ok button and press enter,

Right. Two more things you can try. When it comes to the Accept Button,

I basically use winamp because I guess that's what I am used to. I like
to be able to fast forward through file and mark what I'm reading so I
can pick it up where I left off. I also have winamp set so that if I
press enter on a song it will kew it for me. I don't know how to do that
in wmp.
