I find working on the actual desktop unpredictable. I have found it best to set a shortcut to the Desktop on the actual Desktop. If you then set a shortcut key for this like control + alt + D the Desktop will open in a normal Explorer window set to List or detail as you might prefer. Very much ea

Jaws only reads the first two desktop selections. My documents might be called 1 of so many one time, and 28 of so many another time; is it moving around my desktop? Also sometimes when I hit windows m and then try to hit a letter like m for my documents, it will act like it's reading an html page.

When you hit control+R to a list message it simply sends it back to the list. If you hit control+shift+R then that will send a reply to all. There is no setting to prevent such things in Mailman.
