The way that sighted people see a web page is different from the way jaws displays it for us. Jaws displays the page in one long column. What your wife sees on the right of the screen is eventually displayed by jaws, but further down the column you are reading. You have to keep scrolling further

If there are headings the H key will help you jump to different sections of the page. Another strategy is to see if there is a print page link, use a links list, insert F7, to find it, the link will usually open a much simpler version of the page with just the article that you are looking for and
