I have noticed since upgrading JAWS 9 to the latest update that when on the
internet and filling in edit boxes the echo of characters typed is very
sluggish. This is very annoying in instances where I am ordering things and
really paying attention to what I am typing. Anyone noticed this?
Whether you have the message open or closed, the control shift y should copy
the message to another folder and Jaws should speak that command.
What e-mail client are you using? Outlook? Outlook Express?

Can someone tell me how to delete an email box in Outlook Express? It's an

neither of which worked.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Becky,
If it is one of the five default folders in Outlook Express,
they cannot be deleted.
If it is a folder you created, then highlight the folder, and hit the delete
key, and then tab to the yes button, and spacebar it
when asked if you are sure you want to delete the folder.

Deleting a folder is done by just hitting the delete key on the folder name.
Removing a mail account is done by going to tools and accounts.

Did you make the folder yourself? If it's one of the generic folders that
came in outlook Express, it cannot be deleted in the program itself.

Hello!
I am using Finereader to scan books and save them as word documents for
reading. While reading, I mark and copy misrecognized words to paste
them in another program. After I am done, I have hundrets of bookmarks
named OLELinkx where x stands for a number.
I use bookmarks to mark chapters.
You need to make sure that the folder you're trying to delete isn't hiding
at a level below the generic folders. Try opening the different folder
levels with the right arrow then hit the delete key.

Hi Denny; I am running 2002 XP Home; 2002 Office Home; Outlook Express 6;
and Jaws 9.0.2169 and when trying to move a message I have to do it through
the file menu. Pressing control; shift; plus y Jaws says nothing. Is it
possible that I and others may have a problem with OE or possibly Jaws?
Hi Denny,
An update to my last reply to this thread. If I want to copy a message to

Mike,
Apparrently that command is only good for Outlook and not Outlook Express.
What you can do is an alt e for view and then the letter p for copy. This
is an extra keystroke, but accomplishes the same results.
You can also do the control shift v to move the message to another folder
