Many thanks for your suggestion. I do have CCleaner installed on my
computer, but I was thinking that you used other software to scan the
registry. I often run CCleaner to remove junk from my computer, but I
guess that I will have to try and run the registry scan.

It used to be JAWS friendly. the hardest thing was setting the
delivery time, and that wasn't too bad. You can shop from a previous
list that you made or shop by aisle, or just type in an item and find

After running Avast, CCleaner (including registry cleaner in the app) Spybat
search and destroy, and JKDefrag, I am happy to report my computer is
functioning properly. My only issue was using Spybat without the benefit of
Jaws Scripts. I wasn't certain which Jaws scripts to use so I downloaded
Instead of messing around with scripts, why not use a JAWS-friendly
anti-spyware program like Super Anti Spyware that does not require scripts?
It is easier to use than Spybot.

I just noticed something that appeared in my system tray called Quick time.

If it happened recently, then a system Restore to the previous or a good
Restore point may get rid of it. (It happened the same on a previous
computer of mine, and System Restore cured it. For reasons other, that

I am trying to set up a back up computer with JAWS on it. However, this
computer has Microsoft Word 2002 installed on it. When reading a document in
