This most likely means that the document is a scanned image, rather than a converted text document. It is basically a picture of text, rather than text itself, so no screen reader will read it, or you might get just some jibberish. You can ask for a copy of the document in a word processor format

it will run, because all computers running a dual core or quad core processor are 64 bit machines. if you run the op in 32 bit any standard version of jaws will work. if you run the 64 bit op then you will need that version of jaws. Those comps will also take just about all pci cards on the mar

The 64 bit version of jaws will only work in vista and not in the 64 bit version of XP just so you know. Also in some cases certain software programs will work in what is called compatibility mode on a 64 bit system. I can't offer any further specifics not ever having used such a computer. David
