Hi Leonard,
The only real reason to upgrade, is that as time goes on,
newer applications and hardware will not work with older operating systems.
Not to mention, that eventually, support for Windows XP will not be
available in later versions of Jaws
Microsoft will discontinue all support in 2014

Hi folks,
Haven't been around in a while, so apologies if this question's been done to

line) Jaws reads out: Heading Level 1. Needless to say

Hi, Leonard,
I have to second Cliff on the reasons why.
-- better performance (usage of memory, responsiveness, etc.)
-- easier navigation
-- certain areas, such as control panel, are simpler to understand
-- better security protection
Still, it comes down to personal choice.

I read that jaws new version is having issues with that particular search.

That is a choice to do so. I did it because I heard good things about window

Now, this is just my opinion. Windows 7 is much faster, secure, and easier
to navigate. If you can't find it, just type it in the surch box and after

for XP is suppose to be going away in 2011, but they have moved this date
Hello. I guess your question is still a bit ambiguous. Perhaps it would
help to know why are you considering this change. I have personally used
all the OS's, XP, Vista, and now 7. They each have their strengths and
weaknesses, so what is it you're looking for?

Lenny, although I can't check this for you I think there are issues in
