To my knowledge, it is very rare for companies to warrant software, there
are just too many variables to consider when warranting such items. I think
you'll find that all of your warranty will stipulate to hardware only, and
offer you tech support for software and hardware over the phone.

Yes, arrowing does make it speak the starbut the problem is that if I
don't hear it when I open the box, I start typing and then when that
password is in, even though it is the same one, I am asked if i want
to have it remember the password, blah blah.

Punctuation is set to some. When there is a line of repeated

Its not a key echo, its a punctuation setting. You can see how it is
set by doing a insert + keyboard 6. Then alt +f and arrow to open
default jaws cfg file. now alt + s and arrow to custom punctuation
hit enter. In there do a shit + keyboard 8. Now it will tell you how
it speaks that character
As far as the media player skin. That would depend on if its windows
media player or another products player. If windows, you have to go
into its settings and find the display features.

For one how old is this laptop? Because if you remove any of the tech
support stuff it could void your warranty.
To remove programs from windows7. You look in the control panel for
program and features. Just go down the list or hit the letter the
program starts with and when you have the one you
press left window. edit field will come up and type control. control panel
will come up and press p until you see program. Press enter and the letter
for the program you want to remove. use application key to uninstall.

Hi Hoger,
Thanks for that suggestion. Any information will do nothing but help.
I figure that it will take some time to become completely familiar
with the windows7 operating system.

Hi. No, the utilities like power saver, skins, sound schemes can safely
be uninstalled. You should be able to remove them from add/remove
programs, if they're not listed individually which they should be, it
might just be 1 package called something like toshiba assist.
Hope this helps,
