Its not a key echo, its a punctuation setting. You can see how it is set by doing a insert + keyboard 6. Then alt +f and arrow to open default jaws cfg file. now alt + s and arrow to custom punctuation hit enter. In there do a shit + keyboard 8. Now it will tell you how it speaks that character

Hi. No, the utilities like power saver, skins, sound schemes can safely be uninstalled. You should be able to remove them from add/remove programs, if they're not listed individually which they should be, it might just be 1 package called something like toshiba assist. Hope this helps, Mo
