well, the answer to your problem is?
your version of jaws, doesn't work with IE8.
you will need to go back to IE7,
you can do this through the add slash remove, in the control panel.

I use Mozilla Firefox 3.6. instead of mentioning the names of my friends on
chat on facebook, jaws mentions some long numbers and letters instead.
