I was sent an important docx file. I have office home and student 2010. When I
open the file Jaws reads protected mode and file contains two objects. The only
thing that I can read is a slash. The actual text is on the screen that my wife
can read. I can not read it with the jaws or pc cursor.
Lenny,
You could try hitting the F6 key and arrow down until you
hear a button about viewing in regular or non protected
view. Something like that. Click on this and you probably
will be able to read and edit the document. You do need to
make sure documents are from a source you can trust

Hello Lenny,
There might be text boxes in your documents. You can use CTRL+Shift+O to
list your objects. JAWS should tell you if the objects are text boxes.
Press enter key on one of them. I have found that JAWS might say that the
object is selected at that point when it isn't really selected.

I am glad I do not experience the behavior in Jaws 13, latest and Windows 7
64 bit. I just have the control backspace and control delete that say blank
instead of the words being deleted, in Word 2010 and Outlook 2010 which does
not happen in Jaws 12 so I know it is not an office 2010 problem.
No, that page is not working right either. Started yesterday noted at work.

Hello List,
Doing some work with FileZilla this evening, and while it's working just
fine, I find myself doing a lot of flipping between cursors, routing and
right clicking etc. Are there hot keys that work with this program?
Specifically for uploading, downloading and creating folders?
