Well, there is a steeper learning curve for Win 8 than Win 7. There's a fair amount of specialized software that hasn't been updated to work with Win 8 yet. Windows 7 is supported through 2020, and I suspect with the lukewarm reception Win 8 is getting so far, Microsoft might end up extending s
