Hi Mike,
I would think that if no OCR software is being used,
than there would be no text to copy, since the scan would be an image.

Howdy Bro,
Yes, I read that but, what I'm trying to get are the key commands that Jaws
reads to you when you press, Insert + spacebar, to open Research It then
after pressing Insert + spacebar, you press the question mark keystroke,
shift + slash. I screwed up, as usual, in my initial post wha
Hi Theresa,
Are you using any specialized software to do this scanning? Or are you using
a software that was possibly included with your scanner. Which ever the
case, if the total scan is not too many pages, I would simply copy or cut
the text out of Say Page 2, and paste it onto the bottom of

Hi All,
When I press, Insert, Spacebar, + ? *question mark*, a list of search
commands / keystrokes opens & Jaws reads them but, how can I copy these
search commands? Or, does anyone have a list of these commands that you can

Hello all,
Sometimes I have to scan documents of more of one page, and have to save each
page as a seperate file. I would like to safe the document in one single file;

Please can someone help on this? Is this possible to do?

Hello Gang:
Well, like most things, there is a wide range of views. I have a friend,
who uses Avast. He thinks highly of it.
An earlier post said that the paid version of AVG was accessible. Glad to
hear it for that person. I have the paid version of AVG, and don't really

The print screen key is not on the number row it is on the f number row.
The print screen key is after the f12 key.

I use the paid version of AVG and it is screen reader accessible at least
with JAWS. haven't tried it with any other screen readers though.

I'm sure there is a magic list, you could most likely find it just by doing
a simple search using your option of choice.
Note no matter what I doubt if any system is completely bullet proof so to
speak so far as security is concerned.
Your best bet is always use responsible browsing practices
When you installed Windows 8.1 you got IE 11.

Neil,
I have been using IE 11 on Windows 7 Home 64-bit with Jaws 13 and 14 for
about three years and have had no problems. Of course, I come across web
sites that do not always work as I would like. When I encounter them, the
first thing that I do is to try the offending site using Firefox and
Kurt, insert+control+v should make JAWS report the version of any
program that's being used. alternatively, accessing the about dialog
should also reflect the version. generally it would be found in the help
menu of the program being used.

You have a better memory than I do about when this was last covered. Never

Hi,
I been using IE 11 for 3 years and no problems,
Even though this tread was covered about a year ago here on jaws users and
about the whole gang were still on IE 8, 9, 10.
And everytime, I mention to move to IE11,
I got back replies I thought I wasted my time with that tread,
