Good evening Jaws Users list.
I have added a new tutorial to the Jaws Users OneDrive download page. Me and
my moderator Ed, recorded a tutorial on doing a Jaws tandem and doing some
customizing on Ed's newly upgraded W-10 desktop. Two things you should know

Hello, everyone.
After two calls to Freedom Scientific, I am happy to report that my vertical

Basically, following Brian Lee's steps with regard to the Dictionary Manager

I'm going to call FS about this before going too much further.
Not that I'm unwilling to give your steps another try; it's just that I
think they need to know about the issue.

Hello Tom,
I also noticed a \011 entry after the list of languages. Without opening
English and Eloquence check after "Russian" in the list of languages. I
switched to Eloquence and changed that entry and it worked. Hope you get it
working.
Take care.

Will take a look, but I'm going to call FS about this now, since I do think
they need to know about and see the issue.

Hi All,
Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit & Jaws 16. I have a folder on my data drive

Tom,
On my system, "\011 = vertical tab" is the first item under the list of
synthesizers. Let me backtrack. Brian takes us to the list of synthesizers,
which you obviously located. It happens that the synthesizer I use, Dectalk
Express, isn't listed. But as I arrowed down through the ones
iThank you for responding.
I eventually found it. It was in the pop account. When MS helped me set up
my outlook on my win 10, they set up a pop and an imap account. I was using
the imap and they did not have it set up right.
I sent this email last night and with as busy as the list was, when I

I tried following Brian's steps, but got stuck on step 7.

JAWS should tell you that this equals Vertical Tab.
I couldn't seem to do this step with English and the Eloquence synthesizer

Lets try two things here sir...
First, perform a search for all outlook items, or second, look in the
backstage options under mail and there is a combobox that tells you where
messages are saved.
If you do not know how to do any of the aforementioned, please speak up and

Hi all,
I had to restart my computer in the middle of typing an email. When I
pressed escape it told me that it automatically saved a copy and did I want
to keep it. I pressed enter on yes. Now I am trying to find that email to
finish it. I thought it would be in my drafts, but to my surprise

Brian's steps work perfectly.
Now I'm wondering if there's a similar method for the killing the "new
line" announcement. I tried adding \n to the dictionary, but that
didn't work. Does anyone know the numeric representation for the new
line?

I'm not sure, but it would really be a pain to have to do this when working
on multiple documents simultaneously, as I often do.
