I might be wrong, but I think the, Windows key + Pause, keystroke & steps
that was mentioned by Adrian will work on a Widows 10 system. But, if you
download & try to install the wrong version, Jaws / your system won't let
you do it. For example, I just tried to install a 32 bit versio

top right key on a desktop keyboard). Then switch to the JAWS cursor and arrow
down. On my computer, I'm told I have a 64-bit system. It takes several presses
of the down arrow key to reach this line.

I haven't had an issue with Thunderbird reading e-mails after I got a
faster computer and started using the down arrow to read once JAWS
set. Have you set your receiving emails to HTML or to text? HTML takes
longer to open - they don't open and begin reading instantaneously like
Eudora did.

I do use it, but I wouldn't say that it is windows live mail exactly.
That said, I like Thunderbird but just now with version 45.1.1 I can't
get JAWS to read messages on it. I have to use NVDA to get my email for
now until I figure out what's going on.

to regain your computer icon, do the following:
press the winkey to access your startmenu;
tab once to the system's list of folders;
downarrow to computer;
press the application key;
uparrow till you hear jaws echo show on the desktop checkbox;
press enter to check it;
your computer
Go into control panel.
Look for Desktop Icons.
The first item in that list should be computer. When you check that,
computer will show up on your desktop.

Wondering if others have experienced this problem.
When I end a Tandem session using JAWS key + alt t I completely lose
speech.
The only way to get speech back is to restart the whole system.
I've reached out to FS but nothing has been done as of yet.
Any suggestions or tips people
