Sure, I'm assuming they use a similar way just as Adobe Acrobat does.

I haven't seen any mention of how this fact is known to Microsoft, though I
am leaning towards Microsoft having a built-in detector, but once I hear of
how they plan to do this, I will let you know.

Thank you! Worked quite well. For me, the pitch change would be OK, but
having capital letters preceded by the word, "cap," leaves me with no doubt
which is upper or lower case. This list is wonderful!
BTW, I slightly modified my steps by typing in the word, "cap," and asking Jaws

Hi Jason, below are some instructions for upgrading to W-10. Please read
through them a few times.
If you use the Open book software uninstall it before upgrading to W-10,
then reinstall it when you are upgraded to W-10.

The other day list member Jim wanted to know if he could make Jaws report,

Unfortunatly, MaPlEr is no longer updated or supp

Hi
Is there a portable version of JAWS that can be run from a thumb drive under
Windows 10? The latest version I saw on the FS download site was for JAWS
15, which can't be used with Windows 10.

I've had reasonable success with winamp.

Not sure if you've been informed, though it's been posted several times over
the course of a few months, there is no deadline for persons using assistive

Assistive technology users can do this anytime from now until the end of
