Good evening, I had to reinstall my windows 2007 and try to reinstall my jaws
17, when the job is loaded and for the talking install it stops in the middle
of the video intercept I think it's called it's like I get stuck there I'm not
sure what to do to try to Fix it.

Your "CAD" example shows another anomaly. On my system, it's pronounced as
"cad," as in a disreputable man, even though written in all caps. I wonder why
yours says "Canada."
The larger problem you raise is one that applies across the board, regardless
of capitalization. The JAWS
maybe a second dictionary just for abbreviations? but what if there's an
abbreviation that you don't want the facility to interpret. how would it
be handled, maybe with an exclusion rule?
I do believe the Kurzweil 1K has such a facility, but sometimes a
passage has an abbreviation that is not
I'm sorry, modify is a poor choice of words. I meant add abbreviations to
the dictionary manager the way you suggested.
