I agree.
All this time I kept typing system information in the searchbox.

Hi All,
Note: The steps below were performed running Windows 7 & all JAWS versions.
For those of you that have Jaws set to start at the Windows log-in screen,
but it doesn't, this might work for you. I looked in, msconfig, & found
that JAWS Freedom Scientific wasn't at the top of the list on
I don't know whether it's accessible with JAWS or other screen readers. It's
based on the same open-source software as Chrome these days, but obviously,
there are differences between the two, and I don't know what the accessibility
implications are.

Hi Adrian,
Just a shot in the dark, but is your message window maximizing when opening
an email? Also, I ran into a problem with OE doing some weird crap, & it
was all because the properties of the shortcut I was using had changed &
told OE to open in a minimized state.
Take care.

David,
I believe your method succeeds in closing the Office clipboard on my computer.
I'm not aware of getting confirmation, but I notice a change in behavior.
Unfortunately, the problem persists, suggesting the cause lies somewhere else.
I'm leaning toward resigning myself to my workaround

Hello;
Not sure if this will help,
But it may be worth giving it a try.
In case you need to troubleshoot Outlook, it is a good idea to load Outlook
without loading any 3rd party Outlook add-ins. This article explains just
how
to do it.
Among other culprits, Outlook add-ins are the usual suspect

Hello;
Give these steps a try;
1, press,
Ctrl+shift+l=create new distribution list,
Type in a name which you wish to give to the group.
2, now press,
Alt+h+m
Yu will hear,

Hello Adrian;
Well, you may want to try this approach.
Note, when I had the office clipboard enabled in jaws 18, it also was
showing when I run jaws 17.
So try this,
1, first go into the outlook menu, when new message is opened,
2, tab and enter on, office clipboard...
And tab to options,
3,
Mike,
Yes, I unloaded and reloaded JAWS each time, and yes, I've deleted the
clipboard numerous times.
Right now, I'm finding that shift-tabbing from the message field to the subject
line and tabbing back again stops JAWS from verbalizing the clipboard. It's a
relatively fast workaround. But
Thank you good sir, I myself did not know that little trick until now.
