When this feature was introduced, I was very skeptical about whether I
would find a use for it. But I can tell you that it has helped me on
many occasions.

For example, in beginner verbosity mode, when you press CTRL+C, JAWS
says "copied selection to clipboard". In the other verbosity modes,
JAWS simply announces "copied".

Sandy,
Beginner mode tells you a lot of information. Advanced mode tells you less
information, but still enough to let you know where you are. As he said, try
setting to advanced and do your usual stuff, then set to beginner and do the
same. Compare your results.

When you refer to Reader in step 2, are you referring to JAWS or the Reader

Hello Loy,
The following applies to a desktop configuration. Keystrokes will be
different for a laptop configuration. In the Hotkey Layout menu found under
the ZoomText Application menu there is an option for explaining the
keystroke differences between the desktop and laptop configurations.
Hello Loy,
One correction for my previous message is that the Program menu item is in
the Preferences menu and not the configurations menu.
Take care.
