Hi Chris,
2 things come to mind.
1. how close to the soundcard is the wireless card?
2. if the soundcard is a SoundBlaster, you might want to check out
?
I'm using JAWS 7.0 with Eloquence on an XP Home Dell computer.
Thanks,

install of SP3 caused my computer to no longer be able to connect to the
Internet. It was not a fun problem to try to figure out and fix (LOL, as if
there is such a thing as a fun computer problem).
Just be cautious and complete the task, and I would imagine all shall go
smoothly. HTH.

This is a minor problem but an annoying one nonetheless that I've never had

in Vista when I copy and paste, it only moves the last file the cursor was

shift key, and it says file selected, it doesn't seem to be copying the

HI victor. Thanks. yes, I had checked both those options under Basics, so
unfortunately that's not what's causing JAWS to shut down upon logging on.
It's a mystery. I'm using JAWS 9.0.2169 which I believe was released in
May.

Chris,
I asked a friend about possible programs which may hog memory, and these
were the suggestions I got.
In IE7, turn off phishing (ph-ishing

the advice, but I've decided to go ahead and make the changes manually. It
will take less time to do that than to keep troubleshooting this minor
issue.

it. Thanks for any suggestions.

to turn JAWS off so
they can use the computer properly.
If all that's true about the mute, I'd recommend unloading JAWS rather than
muting it if you're only doing so to let someone else use the computer.
That's now what I do, and when they're done I just use the JAWS hot key to
bring it back up.

Hi, Chris. Maybe it would be better to keep it as a word file and send it
that way. I could do
have to always exit and restart MS Word to do
that, but I forget how to make control page down go back to doing what it
normally does.
If anyone knows the answer, I'd appreciate it if you'd pass that along.
Thanks.

BTW, some of the things in MS Word you can do is Control E to center,
Control U to underline, Control I for italics, Control L to left align,
Control R to right align, and Control B to bold.

problematic at best so I understand. But yeah, Spybot may be the culprit in
