I've read through the JAWS helpful hints for Word, but am using Office
two thousand three here on this computer.
I work with Office 2003 in some cases.
JAWS by default still seems slow in Word 2003, and I haven't tried to
customize Word itself.

But while most things in GMail read just fine, I've been noticing the
"Username Colon" edit box, doesn't read.
JAWS used to say "Username Colon edit." But now, it just says, "Edit."
So, I have to custom lable and type "Username:" Then, it reads that
edit control just fine.

surprisingly, it's using my lable, even though the text username
appears a line or so above the edit box.
I just wanted taht old functionality back where JAWS was reading the
