system from standby. jaws ccame up in demo mode. I have a
fully-authorized version. Any clue about how to solve this nuisance?

Hi David and Gerald,
Man! I must be old! I go back before COBOL to
assembly language using IBM 360
When I start my computer, an old version of JAWS starts. i check the
options, but it is not set to begin on startup. the version 12 that I did
mark for load on startup is, indeed, marked to begin on bootup. Any
clues?? It's a pain!

Well, I have suddenly lost authorization for 3 jaws
versions... 7, 8 , and 11. It was simultaneous and I wish I could get info
on why and on how to fix it so it doesn't happen again.
thanks friends

Uncheck them to prevent them from running at startup.

one more post... I've been using Jawter, but I now want to switch to
Qwitter. I'm concerned that I need somehow to remove Jawter and I have no
clue how to do that.

I'd appreciate advice about setting a keyboard shortcut to activate the "my
