I just went thru the same problem when I installed jaws 8 on my new
computer. The authorization number isnt on the jaws 8 packaging. I had my wife
read
me the authorization number off my jaws 6 packet and that did the job for 8
also.

I don't remember getting an authorization CD for JAWS 8, eather; what I did
when I authorized my new Windows Vista laptop was just used an older
authorization CD; I also think the authorization code is written in Braille
and print on the package somewhere, if not on your 8.0 package th
I believe that is correct so far as the authorization CD is concerned.

it. In the CD holder there is 3 slots in the far right it says real speek
voices, in the middle one it says program CD, and in the far left hand side it
says auth CD. In that slot there is no CD. I
