I can't seem to get Google to work any more with JAWS. Apparently, they
have made several changes. Could someone please tell me if there is
something simple to use when searching for information?

What issue are you having with Google. You are about the third person to
mention that, yet I have not noticed any problems with using google
recently. I mostly use it on an XP box with JFW 12. But I also use it on
a Win7 box currently with JFW 11.

I just tried messing around with the google options and although I was
able to confirm, with the help of a sighted person, that I can change the
values in the sliders, using home, end, pgup, and pgdn, I cannot convince
the settings to stick.
I reset my security and privacy options to the lowes
Update. I've discovered a way to begin building my google preferences
directly into the URL. Then I can just bookmark that URL and get the
results I am shooting for.
Examples:
To turn off google instant add ion=0 to the URL.
To turn off auto completion add complete=0 to the URL
