Hi, for your google problem, try hitting the control key twice. Does it give
you an edit field?

If the Google toolbar is installed on your computer, you'll find it in the
add/remove programs dialog box, not anywhere else that you mentioned.
I would also suggest you go to the view menu and see what is checked on and
what isn't.
