Post Office Protocol (POP3) has a much simpler interface with your email
server on the web than Interactive Mail Access Access Protocol (IMAP).
POP3 just retreives everything in your Inbox on the server at re
performance issues is not JAWS related at all.

I've been working with Outlook 2010 and have set up a few email accounts.
One thing I'm noticing though, is that jaws is noticeably slower when
working with my imap emails as opposed to the ones I have set up as pop.
