Hello Everyone,
After downloading JAWS17 to my Windows 8.1, 64 bit computer, the spacebar is no
longer silent.
Can someone please tell me how to silence the spacebar?

Hi Pauline,
go into settings manager.
select the application you wish spaceBar to be silent in or for all
applications select default.
search for key labels.
once there find spaceBar and toggle it to mute.
