Anyone know where I can get instructions for the simple-minded
computer -user on how to uninstall IE 9? I tried the Jaws-users site but
didn't find any or looked in the wrong place.

Don't know how or why this came to the List after so long a delay. I asked
the question quite a while ago and received, as so often happens, excellent
replies and instructions. I have been back very happily using IE8 and
learned how to do so with the expert help from this List.

Hello friends, if You are using win7 then follow these instructions.
in edit box type viw installed updates. then down arrow and find the
option view installed updates and press enter on it. then press
letter i for internet explorer and press enter then follow the
instructions given by jaws

Depends on which operating system for exact instructions but in Microsoft
windows 7, go to control panel, add remove programmes.
Failing that, go to control panel,updates
