I am a newby at using Windows Media Player. Could someone please give me
some key commands to help me learn how to operate WMP properly? I
especially need to know how to go forward or backward in a file. With
Winamp, I could use the directional keys to do this, but I can't figure out
how to do
Hi Donnie.
Once you bring Windows Player up, you can do Insert H to find shortcut keys.

If WMP 11 is on windows 7, then through this, can you update to v/12 or does
that need to be downloaded from somewhere?
Thanks,
Trish

Windws 7 always comes with version 12 instaled, I think. How did you manage
to get version 11 on Windows 7? I've been trying and trying with no success.
Please tell me.

A friend of mine is having something weird going on trying to play something
using WMP, and hearing a error message stating, the OS does not support WMP,
what would cause this to happen?
Thanks,
Trish

Hi,
Just wondering if there was a new version of WMP recently? I get a pop up
window to choose either recommended settings or custom settings, do not know
when this happened unless it was with the recent window's update.

Hi.
I'm using JFW 11 and Control+insert+T works with WMP 12 in Win7.
It shouldn't tell you the artist name. It should tell you the name of the
song
Have you tried it on other CD's? have you never had success with that
keystroke on any of them?

Thinking rather foolishly, I decided to try Windows Media Player 11, as

out the darn thing. I think I figured out how to shuffle my music and
play it at start up, but I was looking around, got into the menu bar,
