for some reason when I try to set the microphone to desktop, it doesn't want to

Hi, Do not know if this goes to list for window 7 or here. I am using jaws 11
and window 7. I did a test for skipe to check my microphone and I was able to
record message. Although I got the message of microphone is low. Where in

The playback side is the first thing that shows your controls for all.
