Google is in the home page field in the general tab of internet options.
However conduit still comes up when I open IE9. Google
in the free version of
zonealarm unless you uncheck some check box.

Another option you have, is to System restore to a point just before the
installation/intrusion of Conduit Search.

Did you try going into control panel and tap I for internet options and
change it on the home page?
I find this way of getting to the home page works fine for me

conduit search. I do not like the way it works with Jaws and would like to go
back to Google. However when in IE9 and I go to tools and then to internet
options and tab to the default search choice list Google is listed
you could enter Google's address in the home page field.
That's all I do, so it comes up when I open IE 9.

another tab but when I open IE9 the focus is on conduit search
hmm I'm honestly not sure.
Have you tried finding Bing in the list of suggested search
providers and tabbed to the disable button?
