It runs fine for me with jdk1.3.1
tests-unit:
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 17 minutes 33 seconds
[starksm@banshee testsuite]$ java -version
java version "1.3.1_03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_03-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_03-b03, mixed mode)
What about linux? Does the vm still crash? I still can not run a full
testsuite for 3.0... which kinda sucks.

Compilation of the current HEAD of Branch 3.0 fails:
system/src/main/org/jboss/system/ServiceConfigurator.java
can not be compiled because
org.jboss.util.propertyeditor.ObjectNameEditor.class,
org.jboss.util.propertyeditor.PropertiesEditor.class,
org.jboss.util.propertyeditor.FileEditor.class,

There are a few exceptions being dumped out on a clean shutdown
that appear to be shutdown odering problems. One example is
10:44:33,640 ERROR [JRMPInvoker] Failed
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: jrmp not bound
at org.jnp.server.NamingServer.getBinding(NamingServer.java:495)
The org.jboss.mail.MailService is failing to shtudown cleanly because
is is not building its object name correctly that is passing to the JSR77
layer. Please fix this.
javax.management.MalformedObjectNameException: missing domain
at javax.management.ObjectName.(ObjectName.java:52)

CLOB? Neither reading, nor writing?
Reading fails because JDBCCommand.getResultObject never reach the CLOB part:
if the Java type is java.lang.String, resultset.getString is called which,
