Yep.. i'd like to know the same. Seems like that same thing has happend to
me too. Today I tried to do a CVS commit and i got a "[server aborted]:
commit requires write access to the repository"
I's this right? What's the inactivity period before write access is
revoked??

Does anyone have any experience to share about the performance
differences between the following 2 scenarios. Each scenario has the
app running in JBoss with colocated web and ejb tiers.
Scenario 1:
multiple machines, each machine running an instance of JBoss.
Scenario 2:
one machine running m
The only way to avoid dirty reads I think is at the JDBC isolation level and
setting the Isolation level to SERIALIZED.

It is not started as part of "default" but only from "all" in all 3.x
release (3.0, 3.2, 4.0). If you want it as part of default, add
cluster-service.xml in deploy and remove any unneeded services from it such
