I am seeing this same thing with RH development... really annoying and I
don't know what is going on... I will try to chase it down today but I would
really like to commit (once and for all!).
Seems to be a bit better when you move up the initial jdbc stuff
(initializing the database).
it is not that it is something else and it is SOLELY due to the startup of
the database hsql. I can hang the db with no other mbean being started.
David Jencks is seeing this behaviour up close and he recommends moving the
db out of the vm and starting it standalone for the next coming days unti
