I have the same problem with Oracle 9i. But it happens somtimes only.
My app is ajax-based so the problem is about session and LIE's. With

Going by what you have shown here, this looks like a bug to me. I think its
more a Microcontainer bug (as far as i know, that's what resolves the
dependencies) than a EJB3 bug.

should I set ejb-jar ? Do I have to do it in a persistence.xml file ? If so,
does Hibernate look for persistence.xml file in classpath (this would be a
