Danese,
It is good to see you respond (I just guessed on the email address).
Yes Marc does represent JBoss, just like Linus represents Linux, and yes
The JBoss Group is a for-profit company. I think you have missed the
point of what I have said. The JBoss Group is not really a member of
More info:
Since all loading and processing was handled by one function in a
session-bean, we thought that this was all done in one transaction, and the
problems came from this.
So we tried changing the transaction-type for this function to NONE (or
NEVER - cant remember) with the same result.

I having an issue using ExternalContext to point to a a HAJNDI instance
on a separate cluster of jboss machines.
I have JBoss to JBoss communication working fine with tyrex on an
instance to instance basis. And I have ExternalContext working fine
when I point it to the normal JNDI
What do you mean by It doesn't work? and It fails?

Hello!
I am having problems validating users with DatabaseServerLoginModule. I am trying to validate users
with
MySQL and Firebird, but with no success in both of them. I am
using Jboss 3.0.0 with bundled Tomcat 4.0.3.
When I use UsersRolesLoginModule,
I can do the Login correctly.
Sorry too little sleepI'm not communicating effectively..
Heres a quick sketch out
Using JBoss 3.0.2
-Situation A - Works
JBoss Instance A JBoss Instance B
ExternalConext points to --- Standard JNDI Port
-Situation B - Does not Work (NameNotFoundException)
Cluster A

We never found a good bean to depend on. We just put
a 60 second sleep in our MBean, so it sleeps until all
the EJB's are available.
We tried asking the deployer if the beans were deployed,
but they were marked deployed even
Hi
I was wondering if there is something that could be
done to extraction of bulk rows from the database.
Here is a quick recap.
I have datasources like SAP, Oracle, Sybase Siebel,
flat files etc.,
I shall use the JDBC impl from the vendors in case of
DAtabase and JCA Impl. for all others.
