I have set up a two-node clustering.
If I set sticky_session=1 in workers.properties, then all reqeusts will
dispatch to only one server. If this server is "dead", the request will
dispatch to another server.
If I set sticky_session=0, then all requests will dispatch to the two servers

Currently have JBOSS portal pointing to an Oracle database.
When trying to set portletpreferences if the user is not logged then settings

yes, it just swaps the workspace. it does not do a redirect.
You could write a method like this:

Yes, this is how it currently works. The JNDI server doesn't need to be the
JBoss Naming, but a JNDI server is required.
We can talk dependency injection and other things, but these are not yet

A JMS client needs to look up a ConnectionFactory in JNDI and use that to

In JBossMQ, we used the "org.jboss.mq.sm.file.DynamicLoginModule" login module
configured to store hashed passwords in the "jbossmq-state.xml" file. I
couldn't get this to work running Messaging under JBoss 4.0.3SP1. Is Messaging
currently just limited to the
"org.jboss.security.auth.spi.User
probably the files are not associated with the gpd anymore, try if there is a

He's not using SEMPPL + his own TX management. He's using his own TX
management despite SEMPPL.
He only moved away from SEMPPL to his own TX management when he could not
resolve the exception previously mentioned in this thread: "could not register

I changed the password to 'password', re-ran the encryption utility and it is
working. The old password was only 5 characters. Does it need to be larger?
