Is there an RPM available for JDE? I have tried installing everything
in pieces, and haven't had much luck. I'm happy to admit I'm an idiot,
but also happy to admit that an RPM would make this process a whole lot
easier.

Hello,
Sorry if this is already covered by a bug in
BugTrack, or is fixed in CVS, but:
In JDE 2.2.9beta5 at least (maybe earlier),
jde-gen.el tries to insert "jde-gen-signature-padding-3" at line 310, instead of
"jde-gen-method-signature-padding-3", which I presume it should be, since the
Hi,
Just a quick note. I'm upgrading to JDE 2.2.8 from 2.1.6 to use the new ant
support.
I found that you needed to download the later (beta) version of the semantic
toolbar. You need to do this to pick up semantic-load.el (and various
others) which don't exist on Semantic 1.3.3. The file jde.el
Hello,
Oops! you're right. There is a little bug in semantic-sb.el in
Semantic 1.4 beta 12.
The following patch should fix that :-)

I had the same problem but was able to trace it to semantic 1.4 beta 12.
I was able to show correct behavior by switching back to beta 11.
I was also able to get correct behavior in beta 12 by turning on the

Boris indicated that turning on the semanticdb also solved the problem fo

I'm new to jdee, and would like some help getting JDEE 2.2.9beta5. I was

http://jdee.sunsite.dk/jde-latest.zip . I would like, however, to have
access to the emacs 21.1 compatibility features of the 2.2.9beta5. I am
having some difficulty with

The 1.4 vm seems to run 1.3 classes fine, and even in this case I only
compiled this one file and patched the jar. If I had built with 1.4(javac)
and tried to run with 1.3(vm) then it would make more sense to me. I'm
still a bit puzzled, maybe it's a bug in the 1.4 vm that will be resolved in

Hi Klaus,
Its been a while since you wrote the original message, but a late
answer is better the none :-) I´m using the Cygwin Version of XEmacs
21.4.5 under Win2K (while i have chosen the first by myself, the
second has been chosen for me :-|), so I think I can answer some of
your questions.
