The "jffnms.*" means all the tables in the jffnms database.
The computer name should not appear anywhere.
If you can't login in as "jffnms" you can always use the "root" user you are
using to get into the mysql> prompt.

Hi,
Running
jffnms in windows 2003.
I am
trying to monitor to interfaces.
I
receive the message:
The
RRDTool files for Interface ID 8 (from Host ID 4), has not been created by the
Poller Process yet
And indeed
I can see that in the timetable the polling has not started yet.

It worked perfectly. I had tried dropping down a few revs, but didn't try
all the way to 1.0.49. We are cooking with gas now, and I am very greatful
for the help.

Phil

Hi,
Well that seems ok.
You only need one item (temperature), you don't need value.
You should base your graph around the temperature "DS".
It will be nice if you could use our "temperature" graph, but that will require
you to feed it the data in C so it will have to be "23.3" not "233".

Hi Darren,
SNMPv2 is the same thing as SNMPV1 but with 64 bit counters.
You don't need to change anything on the host if they support SNMPv2.
Just change the SNMP version in the hosts screen and you are set.
SNMPv3 is a little more complicated there are encryption and authentication
schemes to se
I´ll give it a try today thank you
In the 64 bit counters, if I do an snmpwalk, I get "null" in all the values.
and from the cisco snmp faq:
"For interfaces that operate at 20,000,000 (20 million) bits per second
or less, you must use 32-bit byte and packet counters. For interfaces that

You just have to create the host, put snmpv2 or v3..and save, then
edit the host and you´ll see the boxes for the snmpv2 or v3 data!!!
Hope it helps

Can anyone give me a simple explaination of how to get SNMP V 2 or V3
working with JFFNMS?
I can configure the rout
