Ben,
$_SERVER["PHP_SELF"] should be available from php-cli also.
Create a file called test.php with this inside:
then run:
# php test.php
and show us the output.
Which PHP version and OS are you running?

You have enable that trigger for a user for it to be active.
Look into the triggers users menu.

You could create a new trap receiver (in admin/internal config/event analizer).
Match it to the 'static' Receiver command without any more parameters.
This is what I did with the TCP Port trap.

You should run the poller manually for that host and interface.
That way you will see what the poller is getting.

The TCP Port interface allows you to check a URL with a RegExp be sure the
correct response is provided.
Also the Apache interface type allows you to monitor a webserver.

The solution to that problem is the one you found.
Try:
c:\> cd "c:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\bin\"
Then:
mysql.exe -ujffnms -pjffnms jffnms < c:\jffnms\docs\jffnms-0.8.2.mysql
It has to work, if it doesn't read the mysql.exe manual that came with your
install or in the web.

Thats not the correct way to run the NAD.
What DB are you using?
You have to run it as:
php autodiscovery_network.php master 3

There's a bug with Postgres and NAD.
You may want to look into the list archives for the patch that fixes the

What I want to eliminate is the tty trap. Documentation says

Sorry for the delay ... vacation and hard work.
The fact that you don't have any SLA event is not good, is the sla cron job
activated into the JFFNMS cron config file ? (supposed to run every 30 mins)
Do you receive emails when interfaces are down?
If yes, check that the SLA event type is into
