Have you tried to completely leave the Cookie Manager empty? don't add any
session id parameters.
I assume that you made the Cookie Manager a child of the thread group.
Also, if you add a View Results Tree listener, you should see the request
data for the second request sampler. Check the part th

I have seen this question in the archive with no answer.
I am trying to use assertions on a response but after all the redirects are
followed. For now, this does not seem to work. I even tried the
regexFunction. The assertions and the regexFunction they only process the
