Can you access the status servlet?
Does it generate XML in the same format as the Tomcat status servlet?

I've gotten weblogic 6 to output the right format a long time back, so
it is possible. never tried with websphere or any other ejb/servlet

Owning up I'm using jmeter 2.0.0 at the minute, so apologies if this

if you want the monitor to only run during the stress test, just set
the iteration and delay so it roughly matches the duration of the
test.

Hi,
I've set up a simple test plan to see how the monitor results listener works
based on the example online documentation
(http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/build-monitor-test-plan.html).
At first I couldn't work out why I could only get the health tab showing
green but
Has anybody use the Monitor Results Listener to monitor Tomcat 5 server?
I have a Tomcat 5.5.25 instance on RHE Linux box. Can anybody tell me
their experience?

Hi all,
Can you please explain me how to use the "Monitor results listener", because i
use it on a test to report a status of a tomcat 5.5.9 server (where the site to
stress is), but the problem is that i had no results in the listener and the
list of servers in this listener stay emp
you should be able to. I'm told by Remy that jboss contains the status
servlet. You'll have to figure out what the URL is for it though. I don't
know it off hand.

Hi Olve,
I ran the test locally on my laptop and the graph is correct. what I
did to test was to create a test plan with 1 thread group with 100
threads hitting "/" on tomcat. A second thread hits the status
servlet.
the ramp up time for the first thread is 100.
I also opened the status servlet
it occurred to me, it could be the graph class and how it draws the
line. if you can give me a bit more information, it would help
diagnose the problem. thanks

the current implementation does this.
double memdiv = (double)usedMem/(double)totMem;
double memWeight = DEFAULT_MEMORY_FACTOR * memdiv;
the load factor is 50, so as the memory usage increases, memdiv should
get closer to 1. That would mean if the memory used is 90%.
load (blue line) would be 45
let me double check, I thought I corrected it, but I could be smoking crack.

Possible bug in monitor results listener
yeah, that has been fixed. it was a bug in the caption and in the
weight calculation for the health tab. the fix was checked in a few
months back.

I've been using the Monitor Results Listener in combination with a monitoring
test plan to watch the impact of my tests on the server. It seems as though
the memory % function is inverted thereby also skewing the load measurement.
As my load increases the used memory goes down, whi
