I found this javascript method : navigator.javaEnabled() it sends back true, if java is enabled. I didn't make extensive tests, but to know if it works, one can try to type in the adress bar "javascript: alert(navigator.javaEnabled())" and see what's coming on ! Paul - Original Message -
