I just became aware of a Jmol issue that occurs only on Intel Macs.
Sorry if this is already a known topic on jmol-users. If you want to
use Shockwave in Safari or Firefox, you have to enable Rosetta (PPC)
mode, because apparently there is no Shockwave for Intel Macs yet.

I'd like to color a surface in Jmol by MEP data that were generated
using PyMol with a plugin. I just learned that the PyMol plugin
generates a data file for the MEP that is in a .dx format. The part
of .dx that is used for this purpose is described here:

When I load a surface that I have saved into a jvxl file using the
command:
isosurface mysurface "abcd.jvxl"
or
isosurface "abcd.jvxl"
or
isosurface file "abcd.jvxl"
the surface does not appear, and yet jmol reports no errors. The file
is in the same directory with the script that is calling
