It was a bug in Jmol that I introduced when I added that thin scrolling panel on the far right. Turns out that Safari or maybe the Mac OS itself doesn't give the same sort of "mouse move" signals that a PC does. So even though the mouse was moved outside the scrolling region, it wasn't turning that
